WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Visiting UNC Asheville scored three goals in the first eight minutes of the match on Saturday night as they defeated Hampton 4-0 at Wanner Stadium.

Alice Walker scored two goals and assisted on one, while Madison Carter and Taylor Gardner added the other as UNC Asheville scored three goals in the first 7:36 to take an early 3-0 lead after the second Walker goal. Gardner put the guests up 4-0 at 37:03 off a feed from Lizzie Ball.

UNC Asheville outshot Hampton 8-5, but Hampton was able to force the action in the second half with five corner kick opportunities and had a couple bounce off.

Hampton returns to action on Tuesday night back at Wanner Stadium hosting Longwood at 7 pm.
