How It Happened:
 
In doubles play, line one went unfinished. At No. 2, graduate student Cliff Dwyer (Oracabessa, Jamaica) and Sophomore Donte Armbrister (Nassau, Bahamas) ousted the competition claiming a 6-0 win, while Juniors Jeremiah Williams (Windsormill, MD) and Daud Gnatt-Bey (Washington, DC) clinched the doubles point at line three by default.
 
In Singles play, positions No. 1, 2, and 4 went unfinished. Senior Fayzullokhon Mavlyudov (Samarkand, Uzbekistan) defeated Brown 6-0, 6-0 at position No. 3. Williams gave Hampton their third point defeating Jarvis 6-0, 6-0 at position No. 5. Position No. 6 resulted in a withdrawal from NSU, allowing the Pirates to take the victory.
