Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 7, 2024) – The Pirates men's and women's teams were defeated by the Temple Owls on Sunday afternoon at the Hamlin Tennis Courts in Philadelphia, Pa.

Both matches ended 6-1 with Hampton winning one singles match in each.

Women

Meiri Okuwaki defeated Jessie Zheng by scores of 6-4 and 6-3. The Saitama, Japan native, earned her ninth singles win of the season and sits at 9-5 on the season. She now holds the best singles record on the team, with teammate Mio Kozaki at 9-6.

Men

Daniel Flynn grabbed a victory over Martim Marujo in two sets that both ended 6-4. Flynn jumps to 7-6 in singles this season, and has won three of his last four. The South Wales, U.K. native, is tied for second on the team in wins.
