Hampton, Va. (Feb. 26, 2025) … The Hampton University women's soccer team announced its 2025 Spring schedule on Wednesday and will host two of the three matches they'll play inside Armstrong Stadium.

Head Coach Scot Vorwold and his Pirates will entertain Shaw on March 28 at 4:30 p.m. before hosting Chowan on April 11 at 6 p.m. They'll end the spring heading to Virginia Wesleyan for a 7 p.m. match on April 18. Admission is free.

Hampton will return its top three goal scorers from 2024 in Sanaa Perry (4 goals, 8 points), Ellen Van Caenegem (3 goals, 1 assist, 7 points), and Nylah Jennings (2 goals, 2 assists, 6 points). A pair of solid defenders from last season will help spearhead the backline in Keri Geter and Evan-Nichole Whitaker. Avery John started 10 matches in goal last season and had a save percentage of .709 will return in goal this year.
