HAMPTON, Va. (June 6, 2025) … With the 2025 football season less than three months away, the game promotions schedule for the upcoming season has been announced. The Pirates begin the season on the road at Jackson State but return home on Sept. 6. 

Hampton's home slate begins against Elizabeth City State, which will be alumni night and a blue out. After three straight contests on the road, the Pirates return to Armstrong Stadium for the Battle of the Bay against Norfolk State on Oct. 4. This year's Battle of the Bay will be Greek Day and Black Owned Business Day. The following week on Oct. 11, Coach Boykin's squad hosts Campbell in the home conference opener which will be Kids Day 

This year's homecoming contest will be on Oct. 25 against the Monmouth Hawks. The Pirates have not hosted the Hawks since the 2017 campaign. The most recent meeting in Armstrong Stadium went down to the wire, being decided in overtime. 

Coming off the bye week, Hampton begins the final month of the season against Maine on Nov. 8. The Pirates' fifth home game of the 2025 slate against the Black Bears will be Military and First Responders Day. Coach Boykin's squad closes out the home schedule against the Tribe of William & Mary. Nov. 15 contest along with being senior day will also be 757 Community Day.
