RICHMOND, Va. (Aug. 11, 2025) … The Coastal Athletic Association announced its preseason All-CAA women's soccer team on Monday and Hampton University sophomore Keri Geter was named to the honorable mention squad.

Geter becomes the first Pirate recognized on a preseason team in program history.

A native of North Mecklenburg, N.C., Geter made the switch to defender in 2024 and helped guide a backline playing all but four minutes out of a possible 1620 minutes. As a freshman she recorded an assist against Mount St. Mary's.

Hampton opens its 2025 schedule on Thursday against Delaware State at 6 p.m. at Powhatan Field in Norfolk.
