HAMPTON, Va. (Mar. 5, 2026) … The Hampton University softball team will commence CAA play this weekend as they entertain Campbell for a three-game series at the HU Softball Stadium. Friday and Saturday's games will be at noon, while Sunday will start at 1 p.m.

Hampton (5-10) enters after a dramatic 6-5 walk-off win over Youngstown State in game two of Tuesday's doubleheader.
After giving up three in the top of the seventh, the Pirates started the bottom of the seventh with a single from
Leah Maduro. After an out,
Kamryn Brown reached on a fielder's choice that pinch-runner
Cassidy Lee beat the throw to second.
Riley Bohanon slapped a single to left to load the bases.
Priscilla Michel came in as a pinch-runner for Bohanon and went to third as Bonner singled to right-center to plate Brown and Lee making the deficit 5-4. Hamilton smoked a 2-2 pitch into right center to score
Carmynn Bonner and Michel for the come-from-behind win.
Campbell (12-8) dropped a 2-1 contest to East Carolina on Tuesday at home. Charlie Montgomery leads the team in batting at .484 and has driven in 15 runs. Amber DeSena is right behind her at .459 with eight doubles and driven in 16 runs. Kasey Wolfe (3-5/3.45 ERA) and Katelyn Hubley (6-1/3.48 ERA) are the 1-2 punch on the mound for the Camels.
