Was on both the track team and the varsity football team all four years... was 10th in the regional indoor championships in the 500-meter dash as a freshman... was All-Region in the indoor 500-meter dash as a sophomore... was also All-State in the indoor 4x400-meter relay and a state runner-up in the outdoor 4x400-meter relay... won the state title in the 800-meter run as a jumior and was named an All-American... also named All-State in the indoor 500-meter dash... defended his state title as a senior... also finished state runner-up in the indoor 1,000-meter run, breaking the school record... was All-State in the 4x800-meter relay... was ranked Top 25 in Virginia... was Emerging Elite National Champion in the 800-meter run.
