LANDSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year cross country and track performer for the Eagles… started on the varsity cross country and track teams as a sophomore… won the coaches award as a junior on both squads… helped the Eagles win Beach District and Virginia Group AAA state championships in outdoor track as a senior… named team captain and MVP… won the district title and was named All-State in the 800-meter run… also won district and regional titles in the 1,000-meter run.

Born Oct. 29, 1989… son of Bruce Thompson, who is active duty in the Navy… has two siblings: sister Racquel and brother Tomas… featured in The Virginian-Pilot… plans to major in electrical engineering… wants to become an automotive engineer.
