• Participated in six meets
• Took seventh in the 100 at the CAA Championships (11.69) and fourth in the 200 (24.13)
• Was a member of the fourth place 4x100 relay team at CAA Championships (45.88)
• Ran season bests in the 100 (11.61) at the JMU Invitational, the 200 (23.58) at the Raleigh Relays and the 400 (56.04) at the Aggie Invitational

• Earned three all-conference honors with a trio of second place finishes at the CAA Championships.
• She took second in the 60 meters with a personal best 7.44, second in the 200 in 23.63 and was part of the second place 4x400 relay team that ran 3:43.29
• Charles won the 200 at the Division I Pre-National (24.03) and was part of the winning 4x400 relay team in 3:44.01

Prior to Hampton

• Attended Hinds Community College
• Won the 4x400m at the LSU Purple Tiger (3:54.89)
• Earned 4th in the 4x100m (44.77) and 4x400m (3:41.40) at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships
• Won the 100m (11.85m) and 4x100m (44.86) at the Mississippi College Twilight
