Had a solid season at middle hitter playing in 79 games in 29 matches, while drawing the starting role in two…Recorded 48 kills (0.61 kpg) and tallied 134 attacks for an attack percentage of .045…Registered six digs and 49 blocks…Second on team in blocking percentage with 0.62 blocks per game….Totaled 79.5points (1.01 ppg) during her rookie run…Produced best game versus Norfolk State (Nov. 9) when she recorded eight kills on 16 attacks along with two blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL
Ese played both volleyball and softball at Center Senior High School in the Kansas City … Helped her volleyball team finish the 2004 season with an even 10-10 record, as well as a third place finish in the District for head coach Meaghan Schieferecke … Named as a First Team All-Conference and All-District performer in volleyball … She went on to set school records in kills and blocks in a single season for Center Senior.

PERSONAL
Born on July 1, 1987 to parents Alen and Jeanette Ighedosa … Plans to major in Political Science and History at Hampton University … She was a member of the Honor Roll and National Honor Society in high school … Ese says one of the reasons she decided to come to Hampton because of the beautiful campus … Some of her hobbies include singing, shopping and acting.
