Hampton University junior Je'Von Hutchison was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance on the track this past weekend.

Hutchison (Boynton, Fla.) won the men’s 600-meter run in the CNU Holiday Open this past Saturday, turning in a time of 1:20.22. He was also on the Pirates’ 4x400-meter relay team that came in second with a 3:20.79.

Hutchison’s title was the only one of the weekend for the Pirates.
