Hampton University sophomore forward Jervon Pressley was named HU Athlete of the Week, following his performance this past weekend.

Pressley (Charlotte, N.C.) grabbed a team-high nine rebounds in Saturday’s 71-68 loss to Coppin State, while also scoring six points in going 3-for-6 from the floor. He also dished out two assists, blocked two shots, and recorded a steal in 22 minutes of action.

Eight of his nine rebounds came on the defensive end.
