Hampton’s Jordan Brooks was named the Rookie of the Week for the first time after a great performance at the Pirates final home game of 2007 against William and Mary.
 
Brooks (G, 5-9, 165, Fr., Mitchellville, Md.) scored a season high 12 points in the Pirates’ victory over the Tribe.  Brooks was 5-of-11 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the three point arc.  He also chipped in four rebounds, three assists, and three steals, respectively.
