Hampton University senior running back Jorrian Washington was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance on the football field this past weekend.

Washington (Los Angeles, Calif.) racked up 250 all-purpose yards on Saturday against William and Mary, including 113 yards on six catches – including a 50-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter. He also had 86 yards on four kickoff returns, averaging 21.5 yards per return.
 
He averaged 18.8 yards per catch.
