Hampton University Athletics

Hampton University freshman Maximilian Kuester was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance on the boat this past weekend.

Kuester (Milano, Italy) was part of the B Division team that helped the Pirates sailing squad qualify for the War Memorial this past weekend with a fourth-place effort at the South Fall Qualifier. He and Albert Toledo won a race in the B Division and recorded six second-place finishes.
 
He helped Hampton tally 65 points in the B Division, the third-best mark.
