Hampton University senior Taylor McCoy was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance on the softball field this past weekend.

In three MEAC Tournament games this past week, McCoy went a combined 6-for-10 (.600) at the plate with four RBIs. She went 4-for-4 at the plate in Thursday's 5-4 win over North Carolina A&T, hitting a double and driving in three runs.

She was also 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Savannah State.
