Hampton University freshman quarterback Jerrell Antoine was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance on the gridiron this past weekend.

Antoine (Orlando, Fla.) threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns this past Saturday in the Pirates’ 38-35 loss against Morgan State. He completed 15 of his 26 passes on the afternoon, averaging 10.9 yards per completion.
 
His long pass of the day was a 34-yard touchdown pass to Twarn Mixson. He also ran nine times for 50 yards and a touchdown.
