Hampton University graduate student guard Quinton Chievous was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance on the hardwood this past week.

Chievous (Chicago, Ill.) led the Pirates with 18 points on Saturday at Savannah State to go along with a team-high eight rebounds. He was 7-for-10 from the floor against the Tigers, while also going 1-for-2 from behind the arc.
 
It was his 14th double-digit scoring effort of the season.
