Hampton University senior forward Quanneisha Perry was named HU Athlete of the Week after her outstanding performance on the basketball court.

Perry (Decatur, Ga.) averaged a double-double this past week as the Lady Pirates beat Maryland Eastern Shore and South Carolina State. The reigning MEAC Player of the Week poured in 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds on Monday against UMES, before adding 25 points and 16 rebounds on Saturday against the Lady Bulldogs.

Perry also had seven blocks in those two games.
