HAMPTON, Va. -- The Hampton University women's soccer team returns to the pitch on Saturday at 2 pm when they visit Hollins University in Roanoke.
This will be the first meeting between Hampton and Hollins in any sport. Hollins is currently 2-5 after losing to Averett University (12-0) and Wilson College (6-0) in its last two games. Freshman Alexis McDonough has scored two of the four goals for Hollins thus far this season.
Hampton returns to action after a 5-0 loss at Presbyterian College on August 27 and sports a record of 0-2-1. The Lady Pirates have had goals from
Kiley Barnes and
Courtney James this year. Â Hampton will play its first on-campus home game in program history on September 23 when they host the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at 4 pm.
