IN BRIEF: Homestanding Charleston Southern scored two first half goals and held Hampton out of the net as they took a 2-0 win on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Grace Clark took a corner kick feed from Sidney Doherty just over 17 minutes into the match and flicked it into the right side of the goal to put the Buccaneers up 1-0 at the 17:09 mark.
- With two minutes left in the first half, Kat Klingensmith found Kayla Robinson with a feed and she blasted one into the net to push the lead to 2-0.

Maya Andrews made 11 saves for Hampton on the day. With those 11 she broke her school record for saves in a season now with 102. Her previous record was 98 as a freshman in 2016.
