RADFORD, Va. – Hampton finished a two-game Big South Conference road swing visiting Radford on Saturday where the host Highlanders scored a 25-12, 25-23, 25-22 win in the Dedmon Center.
Isis Black had eight kills,
Gabby Calloway added seven and 12 digs, while Sasia Saric and
Genevieve Reynolds added six each for Hampton (5-9, 0-3).
In the second set Hampton trailed as much as 18-10 before making a valiant comeback to trail 24-23 before the hosts earned the second set on a kill by Esmadar Tavares.  The third set saw Radford lead 20-15 but Hampton scored seven of the next ten points to trail 23-22 after a kill by
Sydney Sumner. Two straight Radford points locked up the match.
Hampton returns home for two matches next weekend starting with UNC Asheville on Friday night at 6 pm inside Holland Hall.
