ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Hampton University volleyball concluded its regular season on the road as they fell to the Bulldogs in three sets 25-11, 26-24, 25-22 at the Justice Center on Saturday.

Gabby Calloway led the way for the Lady Pirates as she had 11 kills and seven digs. Sasha Saric chipped in six kills and Brooke Irvin finished with 19 assists for Hampton who finished the year 8-17 overall and 3-11 in Big South Conference.

In the second set, Hampton led 23-20 after a kill by Sydney Sumner. The host scored three points and tied the set at 23-23 after a kill by Ansley Rooks. After each team traded a point, UNC Asheville scored the next two points to seal the set on an attack error by Clara Smith.

The third set saw the Lady Pirates trailing 24-20 following a timeout. Hampton scored the next two points as a bad set by Molly Hackett brought them to 24-22. UNC Asheville sealed the match after a timeout on a kill by Julia Borges.
