NORFOLK, Va. – The Hampton Pirates finished off an opening weekend at Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon dropping a 7-0 decision to the Georgetown Hoyas.
At doubles, the tandem of
Matthew Foster-Estwick and
Cliff Dwyer won over Ian Witmer and Kieran Foster 6-3. In singles, Foster-Estwick dropped a three-set match to Rohan Kamdar 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 at line two in the tightest match of the day.Â
Cliff Dwyer dropped a first-set tiebreaker to Luke Ross 7-6, 6-1 at line four.
Hampton returns to action on February 2 at the University of Richmond.
