MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A 38-yard field goal from Nick Bisceglia with five seconds left was the final margin as Robert Morris defeated Hampton 38-35 in Big South Conference football action on Saturday.
The result thwarted a record-setting day from quarterback

The Colonials scored on their first possession going 60 yards in seven plays as George Martin connected with D'Andre Hicks on a three-yard scoring pass to lead 7-0 at the 11:19 mark. After the teams traded holding each other to punts, Hampton went on a 68-yard scoring drive as Duffey scored his first touchdown from five yards out to tie the game with 91 seconds left.
In the second quarter a pair of Bisceglia field goals from 27 and 43 yards sandwiched a pair of Duffey touchdowns from seven and one yard as the Pirates took a 21-13 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Duffey scored his fourth touchdown to start the third quarter as he scored on a 21-yard run weaving his way through several defenders as Hampton pushed the lead to 28-13 with 12:59 left.
A pair of touchdown runs by the Colonials brought them back to a point trailing 28-27 after an eight-yard scoring run by Anthony Purge to start the fourth quarter. Duffey broke the record on a four-yard run to cap a 12-play, 82-yard drive with 9:04 left to lead 35-27. Robert Morris tied the game on a Martin to Alijah Jackson three-yard pass and converted a two-point conversion to even the score with 3:01 left.

Jadakis Bonds had four for 67 yards.
