HAMPTON, Va. -- Kate Klimkewicz and Siobhan Ryan scored 16 points each to lead four in double figures as Richmond defeated Hampton in the home opener for the Lady Pirates on Saturday afternoon.
Richmond hit 61% from the floor in the second quarter and 73% in the third to outscore Hampton 57-23 in those quarters to run away with the win.
Madison Buford scored 11 points for Hampton and Nylah Young added 10 to lead the Lady Pirates.
