HAMPTON, Va. -- Hampton University junior wide receiver
Jadakis Bonds was named on Thursday as a preseason HBCU college football All-America by
BOXTOROW.
Bonds played in 12 games in 2019 and was second nationally in touchdown receptions with 15 as he earned first team All-Big South honors. He had a season high 144 yards and two touchdowns at Liberty and had a season best 11 receptions for 127 yards against North Alabama.
On the year, he had 70 receptions for 944 yards and 15 touchdowns with a season-high three at Charleston Southern. He was named a preseason All-Big South Conference selection at media day on July 27.
Hampton will open its season on September 4 hosting Virginia Union at 6 pm.
BOXTOROW has administered the All-America team since 2007 and the voters are comprised of media members from around the nation that cover HBCU football.
