Score: Hampton 1 – Winthrop 3
How It Happened:
- Winthrop took the lead with an early run scored by McCall at the top of the first inning. (1-0)
- McCall continued the lead for the Eagles after stealing home and scoring on a wild pitch at the top of the third inning. (2-0)
- At the bottom of the sixth inning Senior Janae Lyles (Waldorf, MD) kept the Pirates in the fight with a Home Run scoring Hampton's first run. (2-1)
- After a close seventh inning from both sides, Winthrop secured the win with a run-scored Montenery.

Game 2
Score: Hampton 5 – Winthrop 3
How It Happened:
- Hampton started off strong at the bottom of the first inning, scoring their first run on an error by Junior Kennedi Bedell (Columbus, GA). (1-0)
- Â Showing no mercy, Junior Lady Pirate Tiera Washington (Chesapeake, VA) scored another run to boost Hampton's lead. (2-0)
- At the bottom of the third inning, Hampton scored two runs on another error sending home Senior Janae Lyles (Waldorf, MD) and Senior Kiaya Jeusi (Woodbridge, VA). (4-0)
- The Eagles fought back, scoring their first run at the top of the fourth inning by Hutchinson. (4-1)
- Hampton's Junior Mo'Ne Davis (Philadelphia, PA) recorded the Pirate's fifth run at the bottom of the fourth inning on an error by Winthrop's right fielder. (5-1)
- At the top of the 5th inning, the Eagles took advantage of errors and a wild pitch, scoring runs by McCall and McGalliard, putting pressure on the pirates.
- With Hampton holding the lead, quick outs in the last two innings allowed the Pirates to secure the victory.
