Tennis Teams Celebrate Senior Day

In a rare season finale, the Hampton men's and women's tennis teams celebrated Senior Day on the road on April 11 against rival Norfolk State, which was also celebrating Senior Day.
Both Hampton teams posted identical 7-0 victories over the Norfolk State's men's and women's teams. The men's squad posted a 9-8 record while the women finished the regular season with an 8-10 mark.
Head coach Ana Popovic's squads lose four seniors from the 2022-23 men's and women's teams including Laura Peralta, Franzene Tsui, Jeremiah Williams and Keri Quillin.
The women's team fell to North Carolina A&T State, 5-4, in the opening round of the Colonial Athletic Association Championships. The men's squad participates on the conference championships beginning on April 27 in Williamsburg, Va. on the campus of William & Mary.
