KYRESE MULLEN HOSTS FREE BASKETBALL CAMP

Hampton basketball standout Kyrese Mullen hosted the first Liberty Street Classic, on June 29-July 1 at the Berkley Community Center in Norfolk. Highlight of the camp was an All-Star game on July 1 featuring Mullen and other players. Participants of the camp were taught the fundamentals of basketball and developing their overall shooting, ball-handling and defensive skills.

The Norfolk, Va. native, averaged a team-best 7.7 rebounds, was Hampton's second-leading scorer with 7.6 points per game, and led the team in field goal percentage last season as a freshman. The 6-7, 230-pound forward attended Massanutten Military Academy before enrolling at Hampton last year.
