HAMPTON, Va. (Oct. 18, 2025) ... The Hampton University women's soccer team celebrates Senior Day on Sunday as they entertain Northeastern in a 1 p.m. first-kick.

Six seniors will be honored in pre-game ceremonies: Elodie Metho, Shania Harris, Hasha Holder, Makayla Wade, Taylor Lewis-Richardson and Taryn Goodwin.

Hampton (5-8-1, 0-5-0) comes in after a 4-0 loss to Monmouth on Thursday afternoon, while Northeastern fell 3-0 at William & Mary on Thursday.

ABOUT HAMPTON
Jennings leads the team in goals scored (5), points (12) and shares the lead in assists (2). Four Pirates are next in points with six each as Caitlyn Peace and Madisyn Strange have scored three goals apiece, and the duo of Jayda Sutton and Makayla Wade have two goals and two assists each.

In the net, Avery John has a .722 save percentage and a 1.87 goals against average in 14 starts. She had a season-high 10 saves against Monmouth on Thursday. Freshman Annika Kleffmann started the first match of her career at UNCW and has a save percentage of .706 having played in five matches this season.

ABOUT NORTHEASTERN
The Huskies finish off their 757 swing after dropping a 3-0 decision at William & Mary on Thursday night.

Claire Murray leads the Huskies in goals scored (4) and points scored (8). Lughano Nyondo has a team best five assists, while six different players have scored one goal apiece. Northeastern has been outscored 19-10 this season.

Eliza Teplow has started all 14 matches with an .810 save percentage and a 1.36 goals against average. 

JENNINGS MAKING CLIMB UP RECORD BOOK
With her fifth goal of the year on October 4 against UNCW, Nylah Jennings has put herself tied for third on the single season goals scored list in Hampton history tying her with Kennedy Peace who did it in 2017.

Joining her in the season top 10 list are Caitlyn Peace and Madisyn Strange who each have scored three goals to tie for ninth place on the ranking.
