HAMPTON, Va. (Feb. 14, 2025) … The Hampton University men's tennis team will hit the courts again on Saturday morning as they visit Navy in Annapolis, Md. at 9 a.m.

These teams have met up twice in recent years with the teams splitting the two contests. Last season, Hampton scored a 4-3 win over the Midshipmen in Hampton as Daniel Flynn clinched the match with a three-set win. In 2018, Navy came to Hampton and took home a 5-2 win.

ABOUT HAMPTON
The Pirates are 0-2 after dropping a 7-0 decision on Wednesday night at William & Mary. Yanozie Amadike, Donte Armbrister and Marko Stoilkovski have a win each in two matches of singles. In doubles, the tandem of Stoilkovski and Benjamin Badza have split a pair of matches.

ABOUT NAVY
Navy enters the weekend 8-2 and will play two matches on Friday before hosting the Pirates.
George Cutone, JJ Etterbeek, Jason Kim, Tommy Kim and Nathan Nguyen have 10 wins in singles for Navy. In doubles, Cutone and Luke Garner are 6-0 to lead the team.
