RICHMOND, Va. (March 11, 2025) … The Coastal Athletic Association announced its weekly tennis awards on Tuesday afternoon and the Hampton men's team earned Men's Doubles Team of the Week with Donte Armbrister and Marko Stoilkovski.

Armbrister and Stoilkovski clinched the doubles point in both matches as Hampton won its first two contests of the season over rival Norfolk State (4-3) and Chowan (4-0) last week. Playing at the No. 3 slot, the Pirates tandem topped NSU's Igor Kubalka and Frederick McRae, 6-4, and beat Chowan's Kachuk Maksim and Egor Pshchelev, 6-3. Armbrister was also 2-0 at No. 1 singles with a three-set victory vs. NSU, while Stoilkovski provided the match-clinching point against the Spartans with a win at No. 6 singles.

The Pirates are on their spring break trip this week and face N.C. Central on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Lake Cane Center in Orlando, Florida.
