RICHMOND, Va. (May 9, 2025) … Hampton University junior
Diana Starodubtseva was named on Friday to the second team All-CAA Women's Singles squad announced by the league office in its post-season awards.
Starodubtseva finished 2024-25 with a 20-5 record and a 13-4 mark in the spring in singles. She had a seven-match winning streak and a six-match winning streak this year to go with capturing the HBCU Championship Flight B Singles in the fall.
In doubles, she and
Serena Bryan finished the fall ranked 99
th nationally which was the first Division I era ranking for Hampton women's tennis. Those two finished with a 16-6 record and went 6-1 in the fall.
She becomes the second women's tennis player to earn All-CAA honors, as
Mio Kozaki was a third-team selection last year.
