HAMPTON, Va. (July 18, 2025) … A total of 57 Hampton football student-athletes were recognized by the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) for academic excellence by being named to the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2025 semester.
Four players achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA for the Spring semester and earned High Honors with Distinction. The CAA honored 23 players with High Honors for posting a GPA of 3.7. Thirty football players earned CAA Honors for a GPA of 3.00.
The 57 Hampton honorees equal the record number of Pirate football players earning CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recognition in the Fall 2024 semester.
The conference honors student-athletes for three different levels of achievement. Those with a 4.0 grade point average are recognized as High Honors with Distinction. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0 are recognized as High Honors. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.7 are recognized as Honors.
Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full-time student.
