TOWSON, MD. (Sept. 22, 2025) … The Hampton women's tennis team wrapped up its first fall compeition in the Towson Hidden Duals Sunday. The team took on Towson, Mount St. Mary's, Georgetown and Johns Hopkins over the course of three days. This was a mock dual and no team scores were awarded.
The Pirates posted a 7-5 record in singles and 2-1 in doubles. Toffee Ghorab and Melis Sakiroglu posted 2-1 records in singles on the weekend, while Ghorab and Serena Bryan added a 1-0 doubles record.
Hampton posted a perfect 3-0 record against Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, as freshman Chelsea Chakanyuka earned her first career singles win.
