2007 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in five of the Pirates’ 11 games… recorded one tackle on defense… performed on an offensive line that helped the Pirates average 133.4 yards rushing per game, including a season-high 228 in a win at North Carolina A&T… helped Hampton finish first in the MEAC in scoring offense and passing offense… helped the Pirates finish third in total offense in the regular season with 3,890 yards.
2006 FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in all 12 games, starting the final three at right guard… made his first career start in the Pirates’ win over Bethune-Cookman, helping HU amass 249 yards on the ground… also helped pave the way for 256 yards rushing and seven touchdowns in the regular-season finale at Florida A&M… a key member along the offensive front that helped the Pirates post the highest scoring offense in the league.
BEAUFORT HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in football, basketball, track and golf… helped lead the Eagles to consecutive regional championships in his final two seasons, as the team posted a mark of 22-5… as a junior, he registered 33 pancake blocks to earn All-State, All-Area and All-Lowcountry honors… in his final season he was named All-State, All-Region, All-Area and All-Lowcountry… recorded 30 pancake blocks… participated in the North-South All-Star Game… earned the Senior Top Prospect Award… received the Basketball Academic Award for the highest grade-point average… member of the National Honor Society.

Born May 30, 1988 in Augusta, Ga.… son of Dr. Vallerie Cave and Michael Cave… plans on majoring in recreation therapy… career goal is to become a physical therapist
