Hunter Williams is in his third season on the staff as the Director of Football Operations. He is a 2016 graduate of East Carolina where he worked as a quality control coordinator for the defense and served as a student assistant coach.
In his role at Hampton, he works closely with Head Coach Robert Prunty overseeing all aspects of the program's day-to-day operations. He serves as a liaison between the football team and all on-campus departments and coordinate all team travel.
At East Carolina, he worked with Prunty and the defensive line to develop and organize practice scripts and schedules during the 2017 season. As a student, he worked with the defensive coaches with individual drills and assisted players individually through film study.
Williams graduated from East Carolina with a Business Management degree in 2016 and a Master's in Sports Management in 2019.
