Hampton University Athletics

Chris Reoyo, a former Kecoughtan High School varsity girls soccer coach, is starting his third year on the Hampton University women’s soccer staff this fall working with the field players and goalkeepers.

Reoyo served as the head coach at Kecoughtan for two seasons as his Warriors qualified for district tournament action in both seasons.

He graduated from Radford University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sport and Health Education. While at Radford he served as a student assistant on the women’s soccer team and club soccer coach as a senior. Upon graduation he was on the coaching staff at Radford High School where the boys team was a state semifinalist and regional semifinalist in consecutive years.

Reoyo is a health and physical education teacher at Jones Middle School in Hampton. He enjoys vacationing with his wife Nicole, running, and his two dogs, Buckley and Maximus.
