Hampton University sophomore outside hitter Krista Kraskura was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance on the volleyball court this past weekend.

Kraskura (Kuldiga, Latvia) recorded double-digit kills in both matches against Norfolk State this past weekend; in Friday’s match in Echols Hall, she had 12 kills and a team-high 17 digs for her 11th double-double of the season, while also hitting .296.

She added 11 kills on Sunday against the Spartans, and for the weekend, she had 23 kills and hit .259 for the weekend.
