Hampton University senior guard Olivia Allen was named HU Athlete of the Week, following her performance on the hardwood this past week.

Allen (Kildeer, Ill.) scored a career-high 22 points in both of the Lady Pirates’ games this past week against Coppin State and at Norfolk State. She was a career-best 9-for-15 from the floor on Monday against Coppin State, before hitting a career-high six 3-pointers Saturday at Norfolk State.

For the week, Allen was 16-for-30 (53.3 percent) from the floor and 8-for-15 (53.3 percent) from behind the arc.
