Hampton University sophomore Edose Ibadin was named HU Athlete of the Week, following his performance on the track this past weekend.

Ibadin (Glendale, Md.) won the 800-meter run at the Penn State National Invitational, breaking his own school record with a 1:51.11. He also anchored the Pirates’ 4x400-meter relay squad that came in third in the JoePa Invitational race with a school-record time of 3:11.47.

Ibadin is currently ranked 36th in the nation in the 800-meter run.
