Hampton University junior Je'Von Hutchison was named HU Athlete of the Week after his performance on the track this past weekend.

Hutchison (Boynton, Fla.) won the IC4A title in the 400-meter dash in Boston, Mass. this past weekend, setting a new school recording with a 46.74. He was also on the Pirates’ 4x400-meter relay team that came in fourth with a school-record 3:10.07.

Hutchison’s effort helped the Pirates finish ninth in the IC4A Indoor Championships.
