Hampton University junior defensive back Khambrel McGee was named HU Athlete of the Week, following his performance this past week on the gridiron.

McGee (Miami, Fla.) had four tackles for the Pirates on Thursday at Western Illinois, and he also shined on special teams, blocking a pair of field goals in the first half.

He also had 21 kickoff return yards.
