Hampton University freshman kicker Anthony Prevost was named HU Athlete of the Week after his performance this past weekend on the gridiron.

Prevost (Chesterfield, Va.) was strong against Tennessee Tech on Monday, hitting both of his field goal attempts (from 30 and 39 yards, respectively) and averaging 49.0 yards per kickoff. He also forced and recovered a fumble on a kickoff return in the second quarter.

So far this season, Prevost is tied for sixth in the MEAC in field goals.
