Hampton University senior Nichelle Harris was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance on the cross country course this past week.

Harris (Rahway, N.J.) won the individual crown at the Delaware State Invitational on Friday as she led the Lady Pirates to the team championship for the second straight week. Harris ran a personal-best 18:07.12 over the 5K course.

Heading into last weekend’s action, Harris had the fourth fastest time in the MEAC this season.
