Hampton University junior wide receiver Jorrian Washington was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance on the gridiron this past weekend.

Washington (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the Pirates with 137 rushing yards on 15 carries in Saturday’s loss at Morgan State, averaging 9.1 yards per carry. He also had an 88-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage in the second half.

He also caught two passes for 15 yards and returned a kickoff for 10 yards.
