Hampton University junior rightside Vendula Strakova was named HU Athlete of the Week, following her performance this past weekend on the volleyball court.

Strakova (Brno, Czech Republic) had 19 kills and 14 digs for her 13th double-double of the season in Sunday’s straight-set win over Howard. She committed just three errors in 38 total attacks, hitting a team-best .421.

She also had two service aces and accounted for 21.0 total points.
