Hampton University junior center Emmanuel Okoroba was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past weekend on the hardwood.

Okoroba (Garland, Texas) came off the bench to score 13 points and grab a team-high five rebounds in Saturday’s 87-60 home win over Radford. He had 11 points in the second half alone, helping the Pirates put the game away in the closing minutes.

Okoroba went 6-for-10 from the floor and added a block in 16 minutes.
